Hi all, I just had my van tuned up at the local friendly VW mechanic. He checked my cylinders and came up with 130 140 75 140. I am wondering what is my best route from here; valve job on both sides, or look for a compete motor, rebuild my motor, ignore the problem until something really bad happens, or sell the van and buy a sensible car. I am driving it up to Ojia this weekend for camping, it runs fine now that its been tuned up and the points replaced (mechanic said points were shot -- maybe I should go solid state?) The other problem is this van is originally a AZ vehicle, I am in CA. I don't have the O2 sensor or the harness, can anyone tell me if this is something I can add, or does the brain need transplanting too? I was planning to go junkyard searching for that bit.
