Volks, Archives say a lot about knocking on acceleration (cv's) but little on deceleration. Recently - last 100 miles - when Vanagon is nice and warm and I coast downhill in gear I hear an intermittent muffled "thwup, thwup, thwup" sound coming from the rear driver's wheel area. Power is good and no sounds are made on acceleration. Additionally, I have been hearing an infrequent though clear "clicking" sound when the brakes are applied. Rear brakes are new (4k miles-drums, pads, master cylinder). Brakes and engine seem to work as well as they ever did. Any ideas, suggestions? Allan Harris 1986 Transporter Syncro 'Fritz'
