That would be legal, so long as he doesn't charge an entry fee. We're mostly friends here, and, as friends, we almost certainly could get through this, but there are reasons that these things are tightly controlled by the gummint. If just one member of this list were to get his nose out of joint and go to his local attorney general and bitch about, say, the procedure for selecting winners, or what have you, Chris' ass would get nailed to the cross. I advised him, as soon as I read his initial post, that this would be a problem.
