As a motorcyclist for over thirty five years and 19 bikes, several accidents, both with helmets and without, I believe in helmet laws. Although I started riding without a helmet, as there was no law then, I'm glad that laws were passed that FORCED me to wear a helmet. If there hadn't been, I'd probably be dead or a permanent drooler today. Any kid can walk into a dealership today and buy a motorcycle cabable of doing nearly 200 mph. I don't really care if these young guys kill themselves, but if they become droolers, I end up paying for their long-term care. _______________________________________________ |
