Stan, I had to replace the aiming mechanisms. Ken Wilfey at Vanagain has them. Any frost on the mountain yet? All clear in the Nation so far. Is my Syncro different? A probe in the hole in the plastic speedo cable 90 degree cover finds it essentially empty except the cable, and probably a 90 Deg. device at the unreachable other end. Could the sw. be somewhere else, or must I pull the rusted housing screws to expose it? Also my plastic headlight adjuster hardware is crumbling. So far I've made plastic replacements, but spending an hour to make a 50 cent part isn't very satisfying. Is there a source for these parts? Thanks, Stan |
