CB's will sometimes tell you about radar traps (if you are paying attention and can understand the truckers....) Cell phone coverage...along the interstates, is reasonably good, at least on analog. Digital coverage isn't as good. Off the interstates coverage worsens unless you are near a city. CB's are still good everywhere, and channel 9 is usually monitored by the local authorities.
