If it can be welded, NW ConRod can do it. Welding of aluminum heads is one of their specialties. They have the industrial oven and lots of skill. Not all faults can be cured. These diesel heads might be an issue because subsequent to welding and bringing back to room temp, if it's warped beyond specs, they cannot be milled, but must be replaced. Talk to Jerry at NW Con Rod and he can tell you what can and can't be done with any VW head. Tell him I sent you.
