Just did this a few days ago, and used an 8" scrap of angle iron, the thin perforated type, left over from my garage door tracks. I just put one end over a lower trans stud, put a nut on it, then lined up one of the pressure plate mounting bolts in the flywheel. I suppose you could use two pieces of angle iron, just to spread the load across two studs, but I had the flywheel on & off twice (forgot a new o-ring), and it seemed to work fine.
