Andy, you might be able to install a threaded insert or Heli-Coil. If you have any luck at all, the thread size of the OXS will be commonly available. Also, no experience here, but perhaps a good muffler shop might stock flanged bushings for OXS's which they use in their fabrications. Worst case scenario, find a friend with an engine lathe, or at least access to one, and have him spin off a new half coupling to replace the bitched one. Of course, all the above is predicated on the cost of a new converter and your desire to pay the price of admission.
