Ok...so a raffle might be illegal, but I remember reading recently online
where a woman was conducting an essay contest with the prize being a piece
of real estate.  The legality issue was raised in the article, but since it
was a contest of skill and not luck it was not considered gambling.

So maybe Chris should change it from a raffle to a contest of drain plug
art, or a Vanagon haiku.
