What I find pretty funny is that the ad copy claims it uses "patented technology from General Motors." That immediately raises two questions:

- Why wouldn't GM use it on their production cars? - Why would they license their patent to some fly-by-night Internet vendor?

Then to top it off they show a picture of...two Saabs. (Well, I guess Saab *is* owned by GM these days...)

To me this looks like yet another rerun of the old "cow magnets" urban legend. Any improvement in performance will be due to the reduction in weight of your wallet.
