Subject: Re: Cyl 1 and 3 not getting gas.

I think I have pretty well figured out the problem.

I went ahead and pulled the drivers side injector assm. out and checked for spray pattern.

4 got good spray, 3 nothing !

I didn't bother to pull 1 & 2 because another little light went off in my head. Why aren't 3 and most likly 1 not squirting gas ?

Because when I pulled the old motor that had the leaking heads, #1 had ALOT of coolant and debris and nastyness floating around in it, likewise 3 !!! The cylinderr liners where "Welded" to the heads.

Needless to say, I think this would gunk up these particular injectors pretty well.

The bad side to the pocket is that I need to replace all 4. This is a brand spankin' new Boston Bob motor with less then 45 minutes on it !! And only 2 cylinders, AND only 15 minutes of this was performed on the street. So would make sense to be sure all 4 areas of fuel intake where equal.

So... This is my synopsis. It makes sense, and seems the next logical step.
