I thought I'd let y'all know what an idiot I am. I coulda swore I had tightened that pump to within an inch of its life. Maybe too tight. It must have been a dream 'cuz the power steering pump was loose, way loose. I had tightened the adjusting bolts but didn't tension the belt at all. Now its all good. I'm going to blame it on the uncomfortable position one must be in to work on these engines. Yeah that's it. And I'm not used to having so many belts. Yeah yeah! The winner of tonight's mystery meat contest is Jeffrey Corbin who guessed "some kind of beef." No it was Shawn Wright who said "More likely the belt is too loose" Good thing I checked, eventually.
