Yes, TDI is certainly possible.  We assist people with this all the time.

Sorry if I am covering old ground, but I was wondering if anyone out
there has done or knows if a VW TDI diesel conversion to a gas Vanagon
is possible. I have seen the 2.0 VW and the Subaru, but I can't find
anything on the TDI. Thanks......Greg
