Ah, yes, now that you are stating "proportionally taller", I understand you
are discussing sidewall height to width ratio, as opposed to simply total
tire height. Too bad you didn't state that very clearly to begin with.
BTW, I *WAS* talking about tires deemed acceptable for mounting on Vanagons,
and I *DID* spare you any factoids regarding Piper Cubs, John Deeres, or
Pinzgaures, by specifically mentioning 205/75/14 and 195/75/14 tires, which
happen to be the closest-sized, most popular, and commonly available LT
tires to the 185R14 size you originally mentioned. So there!
