About an hour ago I changed ECU's from my 84 which never bucks to my 85 which sometimes does as a diagnostic comparison. Thought that while I was in there I would clean a few ground connections. Did those on the engine. OK But when I tried to unscrew the screw holding the strap from the engine and three other wires to the left compartment wall, the head snapped off. I have tried to get it out with vise grips and cutting a slot with the Dremel, but haven't had success yet. I have to take my son to a doctor's appointment in 45 minutes. Can I use the bottom bolt holding the coil bracket in place as an alternative ground point. Seems to be an easy yes answer, as they all connect to that same wall, but don't want to screw up the electronics by being wrong. Can put an ECU back in the 84 and limp over to the appt. as an alternative, but have to go see the significant other later today and it is 25 mile drive. Help, particularly fast help, appreciated.
