These ramps were made by the local shop that makes snowmobile decks for the
back of pickup trucks and construction scaffolding. The ramps are their
highest load rating ramps that were in the shop that day with additional
square tubing installed inside of them for additional strength - I think
their original purpose was for scaffolding. I forget the exact load rating
of the unmodified ramp but one was enough to more than hold 2000kg at the
center of the length that we used. The additional reinforcement makes it
VERY strong and still very light. I have had the rear end of my Joker held
up by one ramp (one tire in the air) and there was no sign of failure coming
even close - no pictures unfortunately.
I'll will be visiting this shop again this afternoon and I will get the
specs for the ramps in their unmodified state and our best guess in the
modified state. Pricing as well.
The only thing that I would change is how wide they are - they could be a
little wider so there is more room for steering error.

Since ages I'm looking for such bridging ramps or ladders either made of
aluminium or some sort of plastic, strong enough to support my Syncro
and cheap enough so my wallet can support them :-)
Details, please, including success and failure stories, photos of the
ramps in action, if available ... :-)
Are these self made or are they available somewhere? What's the price?
What are the dimensions, weight, and the supported weight? Are you
satisfied with them or would you pefer design changes?
