I could be a zillion things, but I keep wondering, when folks say the wires "seem" fine? How can you tell? At night can you see shorts? After my experience, that don't mean much to me. Have you checked the resistance? I know their pricey, but... Bite the bullet & replace them when suggested. Can make a big difference. JC...
