Taking of a few thousands will give you a flat level surface for your new clutch to ride true. it will also take off the glaze which was created from the old clutch .This will give you better clutch bite. It should be done with every new installation !! You should have plenty of meat to do it several times . You should have a good auto machine shop in your area . Don at DVW Imports
