  Hi Everyone,
  Just got back from a fun week-end at the 2nd annual Westies at Watkins event.
  We had a tremendous showing of  32 VW Vans participate in the camping activities and 35 vans of all size, shape and age driving around the Watkins Glen Racetrack.  This was a great day.  

  Further details and pictures will be posted soon about all the cool vans that showed up.

  Yes it did rain on Friday night and Saturday morning, but that did not stop the hardy campers from hiking the Watkins Glen Gorge with rain gear and umbrellas. The karma was right and we enjoyed a glorious sunset on Sat. evening, and a great day at the races on Sunday.

  Thanks to everyone for an enjoyable weekend and a special thanks to all the list vendors who made this event memorable:  GoWesty, VolksCafe, BusDepot, RockMt. Motorworks, Condelli & Associates, EV Update and LiMBO.

  I have plenty of commemorative T Shirts available so if you did not get yours, let me know.

  Hope to do it again in 2004..... but this time no passing!!
