My experience is that there is very little carb help
on this list - for good reason.  I do run a Weber DFEV
on my 91 and I have R&Red it a few times and the Solex
carb I had previously.  I'd try a couple of cans of
carb cleaner all through the dis-assembled carb.  I
assume that one can tell if there is a leak in the
float - just take the float out and check for sloshing
(?) or look for a rub on the side/front/back of the
float.  I'd guess a stuck float valve and carb cleaner
will take care of that.   m2cw  Malcolm
