I don't have enclosed storage for my van, and they throw salt onto it when
they plow the parking lot.  So I try to drive it to work at least once a
week to keep the engine in good shape and I take it through the carwash
whenever the temperature is warm enough that it won't freeze up.

My van already has small amounts of the Dreaded Seam Rust anyway, so its
days are numbered.  My goal is to keep it active and happy during its
twilight years. ;)
