This is the case for sure, Eric on this list and others like adventurewagen was the person who looked into buying the mold from Ed who was happy to see it go to a good home. Eric looked into doing a short run which Vee was a part of. Long story short. As you may know, These are tough times and this bunch is a bit on the tight side. The cost of a new top without windows would have been around 1,200. Not enough people stepped up.

Another manufacturer in CA has joined the aw list and is making tops for MUCH less. I haven't see pic but the price is around 600.00. there is more info on the aw yahoo site.
