Hey Barbara! Welcome! It's not a guys only list so stick around! I have been on this list for over 5 years now and have learned a lot and met some wonderful people. Thanks to the advice and assistance from the folks on the list, I am confident enough to perform most repairs and maintenance on my van. I've made a few mistakes along the way, but have seen more success and many trouble free miles because of this list and the people on it. There is a great mechanic in Missoula, he doesn't specialize in VW but I bought a syncro from him about a year and a half ago that he had running so nicely that it just flew. He had done a lot of work on it intending to keep it himself as a hunting vehicle. His shop is called Culver's. Check him out if you are near Missoula. Have fun with your new van! cheers, Loretta
