I replaced a waterpump about 3,000 miles ago with a rebuilt from Napa, since then I replaced the engine. I put it all together and it ran great for about month, then the waterpump sprung a leak around the pulley. Some other things I noticed are little bits of belt on the oil tower an on the timing protrusion, and the alternator is ever so slightly skew, like about 1 degree, but no little bits of belt on the alternator side. So, what about replacing the engine can cause the waterpump to break? Since I have to replace the pump anyway, who is the vendor of choice? Regards, J. Naser Motlagh -- J. Naser Motlagh, MBA, PMP |
