These cars are salvage because it costs more to repair them than they are worth once repaired. Even damaged cars which can be reclaimed are never really brought back to the good as new level. Sure they look good, but they are never exactly right. It is just not economically feasible. We are not talking about a rolled Ferrari GTO here which can justify a $500,000 repair invoice. George |
