Well, it finally happened. Chris took me out for a ride in his SVX-powered Vanagon. All I can say is OH-MY-HOLY-SIX-CYLINDER-SEX-MACHINE, BATMAN! There's no right for a Vanagon to have THAT MUCH raw power. We hit over 105 mph on a very brief stretch of the interstate, and that thing had much more left in it. 60 is yours in, oh, THAT long and passing is but a right foot away. That thing will pull like mad in 4th gear, and there's one more gear left. The sound AH-SOME! Honestly, it will outrun my G60 Corrado up to 100 mph. To give you an honest comparison, the SVX in fifth will surely outpull my 1.9 in third gear, and mine is a good-running WBX. It's full of angry, mad, ricer a$$-kicking power. Ricer eater it is, and then some. The vehicle has been totally transformed into something before unimaginable. The sound of the engine is intoxicating. It's like listening to myriad of mechanical noise blended into an orchestra of power. Yeah, it's a hamster on steroids. A hamster with SIX BALLS! He-he! Chris S.
