Call the Michelin consumer rep and ask them if they will guarantee the HydroEdge tire with the Vanagon. See what they say. Ask GoWesty if they are willing to put their money where their mouth is and cover any damage incurred due to tire structural failure of their recommended combination. See what they say. Decide how risk adverse you are. Make your decision from there. Todd Personally, I don't give much credence to anecdotal evidence. I figure you can always find someone who has done something inherently dangerous and had "No problems whatsoever." Just because something is ill-advised does not mean that it will lead to a disaster every time.
