You'll never catch me installing anything but 'LT' or 'reinforced' sidewall tires. Basically with 15s you need tires that will match the EuroVan specs - these are still reinforced sidewall tires. My rule of thumb is 900kg load rating with LT or Reinfored for the tire. I've seen less, but not in my van and not with my family driving in it! :) David Marshall Fast Forward Automotive Inc. 4356 Quesnel-Hixon Road Quesnel BC Canada V2J 6Z3 http://www.fastforward.ca mailto:sales@fastforward.ca Phone: (250) 992 7775 FAX: (250) 992 1160 - Vanagon Accessories and Engine Conversions - Vanagon, Transporter and Iltis Sales and Importation - European Lighting for most Volkswagen models

Does anyone on this list run of one of the GoWesty alloy wheel/tire packages? The alloys look fantastic, IMHO, but they are using the new Michelin Hydroedge tires which are not LT, nor are they load rated very high. The guys at GoWesty claim that once you go to 15" tires, that you don't need to use reinforced tires anymore...see: http://www.gowesty.com/wheelstiresinfo.html The hydroedge tires are supposedly pretty incredible, but are they right to run on our vanagons? just looking for some opinion on this. thanks! -james 83.5 country homes camper _________________________________________________________________ Instant message during games with MSN Messenger 6.0.
