Sounds like a prudent idea getting it checked out. < NVC > My father in law is a body man in NOVA and has done about anything you can imagine to a car - including taking two totalled police cars (one in the front, one in the rear) and making one good car out of it. He bought a rolled 4-runner and replaced the top clip and side as a graduation present for my wife. Got it before the title was marked salvage so we didn't have to worry about it. He does GREAT work, but after several years little bits of rust started appearing near the weld marks. I'd trust it in another roll, but only because I know who did the work. Moral: find out why it was marked salvage and base your opinion on that -- not on what the title says. < /NVC > john |
