It's a soft slush at about -5 C. It's a cool/weird slush that you can't really squeeze/shake out of the jug at -10. It's kind of fun trying to pour it, shake it, squeeze it from the jug into your car's radiator on a nasty day, when you're not wearing gloves. It may not cunduct heat as well as water, but it can suck the heat outta your hands pretty darn well first thing in the morning when you buy a frozen jug that's been in an outdoor cage overnight at the gas station.

I swear to god, one of these days, I'm going to weld up a little basket that will fit under the hood of my Golf and hold a jug of windshield squirter juice, so that in the winter, you can fill the squirter from a bottle that doesn't make your fingers feel like they're going to shatter. Bless the vanagon, the fact that it's storage space in atop the warm engine lid (No un-heated trunk) and the ability to fill the squirter out of the wind with the doors closed if staying warm is important enough to do the under the driver's seat contortionist act with the door closed.

Oh how I look forward to the next 5 months. :(
