Hello list, time for my friday help request. My 81 Westies engine is got bad compression on no 3, the thing leaks oil so much that to driving gets real stinky from the smell of burning oil. I was thinking of getting rid of it, but I recently changed my mind. Import motor http://www.importmotor.com/Store/ ProductDetail.asp?ProductID=339&MakeID=39&CategoryID=66&ModelID=4&Basket ID=&DealerID=108&YearSelected=1981

sells a pretty sweet new motor, which I am considering buying to replace stinky. I really don't have jacks and such to pull a motor myself, so I am wondering if anyone knows of a good VW person here in SoCal. I am located in Eagle Rock. I would like to basically buy the motor drive it over to someone and pay them to do the job.

TIA

Johnny
