Personal opinion: when you find a shop ask what their policies are for installing your parts. The local shop I use is happy to install mine, however they will not guarantee them (makes sense) -- the place that sold me the part guarantees it. What this means, however, is that if the part fails I have to pay the shop for diagnosis and remove/replace.

Also be sure to add in shipping costs and costs for all the little bits and pieces you'll need replaced while the engine's out. If it's worn enough to burn oil like that I'd bet something else needs replacing.
