Not bad. But don't buy just because they support VWs. This is another very good site, which has a large selection.

If you want efficiency, check out the "Max Power Point" charge controllers. They will give you up to 30% more power than a standard controller. I don't own one, but plan to buy the 2000 model for my 30 watt system on my westy at some point. It currently uses a standard charge controller.

Also the best buy for deep cycles are golf cart batteries. 2 6 volt batteries are 2x52 bucks, for 104 total (last I checked), and are good for about 175 amp hours. (They rate them differently.) Nothing in the normal deep cycle world comes close to that much amp-hour per dollar. And they are correct, buy local, shipping will kill you.
