Not sure if your westy has 'em, but the bottom of my curtains are held against the body of the van by these stretchy cords (not sure what to call them), anyway I just flip them over the lids whenever I need to keep them open. Works great.

HI all, Does anyone have suggestion for simple but effective way to prop open the lids on the two compartments to the left of the stove in my '90 Westy? I've been using a long thin dowel, but frequently it gets knocked loose and the lid comes own on my hand. Ouch! Thanks, Jerry
