I wrote some time ago about my 88 weekender cutting out. I don't know if that has completely stopped yet but I found something important to share. It has been posted many times but, CHANGE YOUR FUEL LINES.

I thought I'd start checking grounds and whatever else. I smelled gas. The fuel return hose from the drivers side fuel rail was wet with gas. It was one of those cloth covered types and it was wet for about 3".

I let the engine cool off and I got the water hose out. My son and I changed the hose and it's opposite.

So I am wondering if I was loosing to much fuel pressure and that was cutting the engine off?

I guess I'll know after I drive it a while.
