A would avoid Midas like the plague. Back before I knew any better I had them mess up my brakes and overcharge me, and I also had them mess up my exhaust and overcharge me.

That being said, dealerships aren't much better. As far as I can tell, finding a good vanagon mechanic involves a lot of trial and error. Try and find a mechanic that actually owns a vanagon.
