.... I was really surprised by how many Eurovans there were in Washington - they seem to sell more than any state that we've noticed...... As a matter of fact, Carter VW in north Seattle, for many years, was the highest volume dealer in the US (Maybe North America) of Westfalia campers. I don't know if it was because people wanted them or because they marketed well, but there are areas in north Seattle that you cannot drive down any residential street without seeing at least one Westy parked on the street or in a driveway. With the tremendous number of Westfalia's you would expect that it would be a buyers market on used vehicles, but just the opposite, a good Westy brings a higher price here in the NW than just about any other area of the country. |
