I bought an 89 syncro, insured it and paid AAA Discount Auto and Truck Transporters Inc. to ship it to me. They said they would pick it up in 2-3 days. That was a week ago and it is still sitting in Colorado Springs while I wait for it in Missoula, MT. Now they tell me that they can't find a trucker willing to ship it and if I pay more money, maybe that would attract a trucker. I think they should just send it to me like they said they would when I signed the contract. Any ideas on what I can do? Barbara, I think they should send it to you based on your contract. You may consider getting legal representation. If you still can't get it resolved, pmail me and I will hook you up with someone who MAY be able to help. A have a friend who ships his cars back and forth between FL and CA all the time as a matter of convenience. Cheaper than driving them cross country. When you do this kind of thing often enough, the shippers pay better attention. BenT |
