Hi all I been trying to search the archives for help on this, but they are timing out. I just installed a 12 volt marine battery under my back seat; there was allready a marine case under the seat, and wiring coming off which appears to be a relay. I then wired the two wires coming from my fridge area to the battery, which makes my fan on the back of the fridge work great. The led meter on lights up, water pump works, but no 12 volt on the fridge (which would not be a problem, but at about 65 the gas blows out). I opened the cupboard to the right of the fridge and found a connector with the following result coming from fridge brown wire connecting to a white wire coming from fridge blue wire connecting to two black wires which are cut or one is cut coming from fridge black wire connecting to two red live
when pulling the connector off the fan stops, so I am assuming this powers the fridge. My concern is the cut black wires or wire. I have read that there are ways to bypass the switch that controls the 12 volt operation when the van is running. I would ultimately like to run with it like this. If anyone can put some insight on this wiring I would much appreciate it. The fridge works great at 110 and LP.
