Subject: Can I trickle charge an Optima and a regular battery together
              using jumper cables?

Subject line pretty much says it all. I am putting my syncro up for the winter and I already have a trickle charger on my Optima for camping that is hooked right to the shore power cable.

Can I run a set of jumper cables between both bateries and have the trickle charger keep both topped up? Or should I put a seperate charger on each?

My batteries are curently set up with the silver relay system described on: http://www.vanagon.com/info/faq/#electrical

Thanks, Chris
