If so, replacements are available from the aftermarket: http://www.forgemotorsport.com/images/gti.jpg How about using quad-7'' headlights as in the Scirocco? Cheap at a junkyard/Ebay near you. Has anyone figured out a good way to mount these? Couldn't you use another round-headlight grille to cut out the trim for the inner headlights? http://perso.club-internet.fr/fabraham/images/Scirocco-type1_01.jpeg I think the real question is what alternative lights are cost-effective functionally and cosmetically pleasing. To help my crappy DOT 7'' headlights I use Hella driving lights which, when aimed properly, help out a great deal. See here: http://www.knology.net/~vw/vws/camel/main.jpg I will soon be replacing my main headlights with Ciebie H4 E-code headlights. Here's a great write-up I found on the SA grille install: http://www.qadas.com/~kanas/Vehicles/South_African_Grille_Procedure.html Chris S.
