Amazing what a little time will do. I'm following up to my own post to give an update on the running status of my engine. After adding some STP injector cleaner (and later in the day a bottle of Techron) to the gas tank and running around a bit, I let the van sit for a few hours while I worked from my home office for a while. I had to come in to my real office this evening, so I had an excuse to put some miles on it. It was already showing some signs of improvement after just a few hours of sitting with fresh gas in the injectors, although it was still down on power and a bit rough. After driving 55 miles to work, I'm happy to report that the engine is at least running at nominally normal power output. Doesn't feel quite as strong as it should be, but it isn't sputtering and has pull in the lower RPM range now that it didn't have this morning when I first fired it up after its long rest. Amazing what running a little fresh fuel through the injectors will do. I still think that at some point soon (when my BMW motorcycle gets out of the shop with a repaired transmission) I'll pull all of the injectors and have a professional injector specialist go over them. Thank you all for your suggestions.
