I was going to go into my whole schpiel about how security and safety are being used as excuses to nibble away our freedom, privacy, and civil liberties. I'll stop short of that, however, because I realize that this is not the place for that discussion. Please let's steer this thread back towards something containing at least SOME Vanagon content.

Am I missing something? If one has nothing to hide, why be concerned if you can be found?

To me, not scary at all if you are honest and not a criminal. It is actually (for honest people) a security and safety thing isn't it? Lost? You can be found? Kidnapped? You can be found. Cell phone stolen? It can be found. Sounds pretty good to me. Want privacy? Leave the cell phone at home. Want emergency help? Bring the cell phone with you.
