Let's say the government decides you're driving through Arab-speaking
neighborhoods a bit too often and decides to check up on you.  Who knows,
you might end up on one of those lists of people who get searched every
time they fly, the ones you have no right to find out why you're on.

Or (more likely), let's say GM notices through On*Star that you're taking
your car to a local mechanic instead of the dealer.  They could, in
theory, make your car run bad to punish you.  Or revoke your warranty.

I think advertisers would also love to get hold of data about all the
places you go and people you call.  GM could make a lot of money selling
that information.
