Phosphate free, propylene glycol. Better than ethylene from a metal erosion perpective, or so they claim; carries a bit less heat because you need a little more glycol for the same freeze protection.

Nontoxic, you can drink small amounts of it with no harm at all, according to my toxicologist ER physician next door neighbour, but I wouldn't. Doesn't taste good like ethylene glycol, which is really toxic. So better for our forest floor friends, if spilled, or a hose splits.

6 to 7 USD per gallon, although they had a rebate program on recently that dropped it to 5 per gal for up to 4 gallons.

BTW, color - Green.
