Okay, I got up enough nerve to call Sears after Karl W. posted his opinion on my new tires on the '87 Westy. The salesman wasn't interested in taking a ride but has told his supervisor that I am coming out tomorrow to talk to him and he will take the ride/inspect the tires.

Since one attracts more bees with honey than vinegar AND I used to be in retail in a previous life, I didn't create a ruckus and told him I hated to complain and REALLY did liked the ride and handling... it was just the NOISE!

Any body have any ideas or advice in settling this problem, i.e., a substitute/replacement that Sears sells?

TIA -- Stephen Chillicothe, Ohio
