Better yet, when coming out of storage, pull the plugs, squirt in some oil and then crank it over until you have oil pressure. Only then do you install the plugs and start it. The advantage of pulling the plugs is that your "dry" bearings are not under compression load or firing load until they have a protective film of fresh oil. ( You did change the oil before you started it right?) >
