But, let me restate the query. What is the
group's "perfect engine upgrade"?
 We all have our own views on the ideal....?

Yeah, I want more power, so that I can keep
all of the Richard Heads from pushing their way into that
perfect space (on the freeway) I`m trying to maintain between me & the guy
ahead of me.
And so that when people behind me think that just because there's a VW bus
ahead of them that its got to be a slow one,
& that they can make a crazy move & try to pass it.
& I thoroughly enjoy the look on their faces,
when they discover that they'd better pull back into their lane,
cuz they cant make the grade...
I`d also like to have an auto tranny, so I can hang onto
that cup of Seattle's best turbo charged caffeine I got my finger wrapped
around......
What in the heck is that all about anyway???
But as I think back to my younger years (the younger brothers that is),
that wasn't the reason I bought my first splittie at all !!!
Back then, there was a couple of buddies and about three or four hippy chicks
sitting on the rear floor & seats,
( laughin, jokin, drinkin, smokin :)
& we didn't give a crap how long it took to get "there"
cuz we were always there anyway...
& besides, it was to cloudy to see that well, for drivin fast anyway.
