Another very low-tech solution to the paper towel unraveling in the breeze: Cut the ends off a large (litre) size soda pop container. Then cut it lengthwise so it can be pried apart, slipped over the towel toll. You can also trim some of the plastic from each of the cut sides so it just secures the roll from unraveling but does not go all the way around it. Makes it easier to slip over the roll. Bob Stevens
